Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University (2019), a Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensics from Grand Canyon University, and a second Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling (2025) from the University of the Southwest.
Before joining Permian Basin Counseling and Guidance, Michelle spent over 15 years working in emergency rooms across Arizona and New Mexico. That experience deepened her understanding of the connection between physical and mental health and ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in mental health counseling.
Michelle specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and grief. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices, with care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
Michelle is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop confidence as they navigate important life transitions.
